The South Jordan Fire Department does offer tours of the fire station. However,
whereas your firefighters are involved in many other activities during their shift, it is important that you adhere to the following guidelines when scheduling a fire station tour:
Station tours are limited to South Jordan City residents, church groups, schools and other civic groups. Individuals and/or organizations who reside outside of South Jordan City are encouraged to contact their local fire department for a station tour.
Tours are permitted in all South Jordan City Fire Stations.
Tours should generally be scheduled at least 14 days in advance.
As scheduling allows, tours may be conducted between the hours of 10:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday - Sunday.
Due to safety, security and liability issues, group size must be limited to 40 or fewer participants.
A parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult must accompany all visitors under the age of 18.
Confirmation of your tour date and time will be sent to you via email within 5 business days of submitting the request. If you do not receive confirmation or have additional questions please contact the Fire Department at 254-0948.
We appreciate your interest and will make every attempt to fulfill your request for a station tour. However, please remember that due to the nature of emergency services, station tours are subject to last minute cancellation.
